  • Houxian® EP420 is a modified solid bisphenol A epoxy resin nonionic aqueous dispersion with a solids content of 53%. This resin has a low solvent content (acetone and propylene glycol methyl ether), resulting in waterborne coatings that exhibit the excellent properties of traditional epoxy coatings, with lower VOCs and harmful air pollutants. Houxian® EP420 resin has good compatibility with many water-dilutable amine curing agents, but it is even better when used in conjunction with Houxian® GZ05 curing agent.

  • Application Characteristics:
  • 1. Faster drying speed than EP305, faster hardness increase, ultimately reaching H or higher.
  • 2. Suitable for wet spraying and wet coating; excellent corrosion and water resistance.

  • Instructions for Use
  • Form two-component epoxy coatings with amine-based curing agents
  • Application Methods: Air spraying, roller coating, high-pressure airless spraying
  • Drying Method: Baking at room temperature or low temperature

  • Application Scope:
  • Large steel structures and construction machinery

  • Precautions:
  • The storage temperature should be between 5-35℃. Store in a well-ventilated, dry warehouse, avoiding freezing and direct sunlight.
  • Stir thoroughly before use. Store in a tightly closed container after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
  • The effective shelf life is six months from the date of packaging.
